WOE INDUSTRIES
During the pandemic, Steve Nass and I got bored and decided to make computer games. It was kind of a dark time, so we named our studio “Woe Industries."
Three years later, our games have been featured by Newsweek, Polygon, The Verge, and many others. You can find our homepage here, and a catalogue of our games below.

Someone posted his playthrough on Youtube. They’re really good at Mario and not so good at picking thumbnails.

FromSoft Word
FromSoft is known for making exceptionally difficult games that show the player no mercy. We thought it might be fun to imagine what Microsoft Word would look like if FromSoft built it. One typo, and you lose everything.

With all the discourse around walkable cities, we thought it would be fun to create a version of Frogger in an open-world, car-free city. Instead of dodging cars, Frogger now rides the subway, goes on quests, and solves a larger mystery.
Myst First-Person Shooter
Myst is the rare video game that values deep thinking over mindless violence. Steve and I fixed that by turning it into an ultra-violent shooter.
The people working on the official Myst remake tweeted about it.
Someone made this video of their gnarly speedrun:
